About the Event
Cinema club is for children in Years 1-6 & we will be showing  DC League of Super Pets  in the school hall after the school day. A drink and snack will be provided. Tickets will be on sale from 8pm on Tuesday 21st February.
Please note the film is a PG so please follow this advice before booking your child's ticket: "General viewing but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children. A PG film should not unsettle a child aged around eight or older. Unaccompanied children of any age may watch, but parents are advised to consider whether the content may upset younger, or more sensitive, children".
FAQs:
My family is entitled to Free School Meals, do I have to pay?
No you do not. We want this to be inclusive for all. As per usual PTA policy, we are holding some tickets back so that FSM families can approach Mrs Roberts to confidentially claim a ticket/s. Please email your child's name, class, any dietry requirements and the emergency contact number for the day, to Mrs Roberts, by the end of February. If these tickets are not claimed, we will release them for sale in March nearer the time.
How will my child be transferred from their classroom to the hall?
Children attending will be registered for the event in their classroom, then accompanied by a teacher or parent volunteer at the end of the school day from their classroom to the school hall. Your child does not need to bring a copy of their ticket in on the day.
What happens at pick up?
Please arrive at 5.30pm. Children must be collected by a parent/guardian and are NOT allowed to walk home by themselves.
Enter through the car park gates and wait at the side gate until it is opened. You'll enter the side door into the library and we will have a one way system in place, you'll collect your child from just inside the hall and exit from the fire doors back out to where you started. Â
Please do not drive your car into the school car park or up Banner Farm Road as per the usual pick up policy, and take care in the car park as staff may still be leaving on their way home.
Can I help?
Yes please! We need 10 volunteers to help run this event. If you are able to help, please tick the box when you buy your child's ticket or email claremonttwpta@gmail.com and your details will be passed onto the event organiser, parent and volunteer Sam Walker.
What happens if the event is rearranged?
In the unfortunate event of having to postpone the event, your ticket will be transferred to the new date. In the event a new date cannot be secured or you cannot make it, we will ask whether you would like a refund or are happy for your ticket cost to be a donation to the PTA.Â
What happens if my child can no longer make it?
You do not need to let us know, as we will cross check our attendance list with the school office before the event. Regrettably, the ticket cannot be transferred as per the usual PTA policy which you can read in full here.Â
Why do I have to give you personal information about my child to attend this event?
This is to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of every child in attendance. As a separate entity, the PTA does not have access to this information from school. Please note the data you provide when registering for this event will be safely stored within our web host Wix's database and extracted only for the purpose of providing the teachers and parent volunteers with the essential information they need to safely supervise the event. All data will be confidentially destroyed after the event and not used for any other purpose. Please check our privacy policy for further details.
